Greetings and welcome to another challenge at One Stop Craft Challenge. Thanks for all the great entries in our How Sentimental challenge. All the cards were amazing. Please grab the winners badge to display on your blog and contact Shelley at onestopcardcraft@btinternet.com for details on how to claim your prize from Wink Wink Ink.

This week we are sponsored by DewDrop Craftz.

DewDrop Craftz is a UK based online retailer specialising in digital stamps and also distributors of the Cougar electronic cutting machine and accessories. We also now sell vinyl decals for the home, vehicles and soon to be papercrafts. With a diverse range of global based digital image designers there is something for everyone.

This week it is my turn (Cat's) to host the challenge and I have chosen a photo inspiration - actually 2 photos for you to choose from or find inspiration in both. My mom passed away a year ago and butterflies, especially Monarchs, were a significant part of her life. As a child we would search for the gold, black and white caterpillars on milkweed plants and watch their transformation into beautiful butterflies. Now whenever I see a butterfly I am reminded of my mom and feel she's still close by.

For the challenge, I've selected a photo of the caterpillar and butterfly; think of it as a before and after.

Such vivid colors! The thing I love about photo inspiration challenges is one can find so many different ways to get their creativity flowing. The colors and images are always a good launching point, but there's so much more. Do you look at the photo and see a layout? Does the image evoke a feeling inside you? Do the patterns spark an idea? The main thing is to have fun, let the crafting spirits move you and create!

Let's see how the awesome DT at OSCC interpreted the photos.

Chrissie was inspired by butterfly and the shape of the plants in the photo.

Francesca was inspired by the colors and butterfly.

Janet used color as inspiration.

Lisa also found her mojo in the colors.

Lyndsey used colors as inspiration.

Sharon was inspired by the layout on butterfly photo.

I know you want to see a close up of that AWESOME pergamano butterfly.

Shelley was inspired by butterfly and colors.

Val was inspired by the pinks in the photo.

Itzuvit created a a Rosh Hashana card.

Me (Cat )

My mom is and continues to be an inspiration in my life, and I created several cards using different elements of the photos as inspiration. I'll post the details and more photos on my blog throughout the week.

Can I get a huge WAHOO for the DT? The girls really outdid themselves this week and we can't wait to see how you are inspired. The rules are simple, create a NEW card or project inspired by the photos. Add a link below by Friday, September 10th (midnight CST for those stateside and 6 AM the 11th for my UK friends), so we can find you. Most important of all, HAVE FUN!
